Our Global Kitchen (2012)
The American Museum of Natural History recently developed a new exhibit, Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, and Culture. The exhibit highlights how food production and use has changed over time and addresses the challenge ahead of sustainably feeding a growing population. During 2011 and 2012, researchers from the Institute on the Environment advised the exhibit team on the most pressing issues of the challenge and provided the science behind many aspects of the exhibit. After being on display from November 2012 to August 2013, the exhibit will travel to other science museums in major cities around the world.
